ELCOC Announces Location for 2026 Diaper Drive Community Drop-Off Event

Collection Goal: 40,000 Diapers

Orlando, FL –The Early Learning Coalition of Orange County (ELCOC) is now collecting diapers to support Orange County families in need as part of its 2026 Diaper Drive. This year’s community goal is to collect
40,000 diapers, all of which will be delivered to the Central Florida Diaper Bank. The Diaper Drive kicked off Monday, January 12, 2026, and includes eight weeks of online giving and community collection eff orts, culminating in a celebratory in-person drop-off event.

Diaper Drop-Off Event
Saturday, March 7, 2026 | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dr. James R. Smith Neighborhood Center
1723 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando

Two Easy Ways to Participate:

1. Donate Diapers via Amazon: Visit ELCOC’s
Amazon Wish List
and ship diapers directly to ELCOC offices. Boxes start around $10, and every donation makes a difference.

2. Attend the Diaper Drop-Off Event: Buy diapers and drop them off in person on March 7th during the community celebration.

ELCOC is proud to partner with the following organizations to meet the 40,000-diaper collection goal:

  • Orange County Head Start
  • Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Orlando Alumnae Chapter
  • City of Orlando Commissioner Bakari F. Burns, District 6
  • More community partners to come!

Every baby deserves the comfort of a clean diaper, and no parent should have to worry about going without. Diapers are not optional-they’re essential for a baby’s health, comfort, and development, yet thousands of families in Central Florida struggle to aff ord them.
Programs such as WIC help families meet their food and nutrition needs, but they don’t cover essentials like diapers.
